Our national delivery is fulfilled via DPD courier. We dispatch Monday – Thursday for next day delivery, although some postcodes are 48 hr delivery and delays sometimes happen, please be aware we do allow 48 hours for ALL deliveries via courier and we will not take responisibily for deliveries refused within this time, Our temeperature controlled boxes will keep the food frozen and partially thawed food can be refrozen.
The Minimum Order for courier is set at 7kg, smaller amounts will quickly defrost and we want our food to reach you in the best possible condition. The online shop will only process your order when you have ordered this amount of raw food. Courier rate for shop stock is £7.
When ordering Shop stock, for courier delivery i.e. dehydrated treats or supplements you may be charged twice, as shop stock is not posted with perrishable goods, i.e raw food. If you want shop stock delivered with your Raw delivery and not seperate and there is enough room in your box, we can not accept any responsibility if your order defrosts quicker because you have non frozen items in your box ( which will compromise the temperature of the box ) please add this in comments and add the coupon code PSSC7, which will deduct the shipping code for shop stock. Shop stock can be ordered on our own van delivery service, at no extra cost .
We now have 2 DPD courier contracts one is specifically for delivering perishable goods, i.e raw and one is for shop stock. A sticker is placed on the perrishable goods box so that your driver knows they must leave the box(es) and not take them back to the delivery hub. Please note that once dispatched you cannot re-arrange a delivery date for next day, or to another address, or change delivery instructions as this could delay the box by one day, and it is DPD’s policy to destroy the box if not delivered in 48hrs, we will not be held responsible if this does happen. If ordering just shop stock there is no destruct policy, if the box has not been delivered in 48 hrs.
We cannot take responsibility for any changes made to the delivery after dispatch or any errors in delivery address and postcode. The only exception is in the case of a failed delivery due to an error on the part of The Dogs Butcher or DPD. A refund will only be issued in these circumstances.
We cannot replace or refund any orders which have:
been refused or been delivered within 48 hours – the food will be perfectly fine to feed.
You should allow at least 48 hrs for delivery and be aware that DPD will deliver between the hours of 8am and 6pm (this could be even earlier and later during busy periods).
We can arrange for delivery to be made between 8am to 12pm at an extra cost to yourself.
If you are unable to be home for receipt of your delivery (we much prefer that you are) you must arrange for a safe place to leave your delivery, which should be stipulated when you order, otherwise DPD will not deliver or accept responsibility for the delivery. This means we will not offer any refunds or replacements.
Occasionally, we may have to make substitutions to your order. We aim to substitute with proteins already ordered (or whole game for whole game) if you have any intolerances, or would prefer a refund instead of a substitution – please state this in the comments box at the end of checkout. We cannot offer a refund if this is not noted.

Dog food is perfectly fine to re-freeze.
Once an order has been placed it cannot be added to or changed. Any changes to delivery the day, after the order has been packed, could incur admin charges and any cancellations to orders once they have been packed can also incur extra charges.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to ship to both Northern Ireland and ROI. If your postcode is in the Highlands or Islands these deliveries will incur an extra charge, which will be calculated at the checkout. Courier Delivery Schedule
Orders between 10am Thursday and up to 10am Sunday – Delivery on Tuesday (between 8am and 6pm)

Bank holiday orders will only be delivered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – cut off days and times will be posted on our home page.
Our collection service is available at the following days and times:

Collections are to the right of our building, as you look at it and up the metal ramp in between the freezers.
For collection You can park near the collection point but please allow room for cars and vans to drive in and our of our car park. If you need help just ask.
If no one is at the collection point please go to the shop.
Please observe social distancing rules when collecting and wait until there the collection area is clear of any other visitors.
Same day collections should be ordered before 10am on the day you wish to collect.
Saturday collections should be ordered before 10am on Friday.
You should state the day and time you would like to collect the order in the comments box when placing your order.
If you cannot collect your order please get in touch and let us know as soon as possible. We cannot store any uncollected orders and they will be refunded and you will need to re-order.
As with all orders, please mention in comments if you do not want substitutions.

Shop visitors should park on the left as you drive through the gates.
Only 2 people permitted in store at a time. (During covid restrictions)
Masks to be worn in the store.
Only one family member at a time please unless both members are buying food.
Please use hand sanitizer.
We do spot clean after each visit.
If you are shielding or cannot wear a mask then please ring us and we will deliver your food.
We have discounted damaged packs and mis packs and also any lines from website are 10% off if bought out of the store direct.
All popular lines are maintained in the store.
Own Van Delivery Information
We have 5 own van delivery routes which consist of: Exeter (Exeter, Exmouth, Honiton, and areas in between), Plymouth (Plymouth, South Brent, and areas in between), Torquay (Torquay, Paignton, Brixham, and Newton Abbot), Hampshire (Hampshire, Dorset, etc), Cornwall.
The minimum order for this is 15kg and costs £7 for Hampshire and Cornwall or £5 (using code “2off”) for the rest, regardless of order size. All orders need to be placed 5 working days before the delivery date, which can be found on the calander linked above.
